Chibuike is inspired by the art of fashion and the creative ways in which garments can be manipulated to interface with the body. Fashion informs his engineering research interest in fabricating wearable medical devices for health monitoring, as the most successful wearables are those that can be easily integrated into a patient's lifestyle, which depends on their comfortability, aesthetic, and ease of use.

Chibuike grew up in Wilson, North Carolina, where he was classically trained on the piano and began singing in choirs. Today, he enjoys playing Impressionist pieces, freelance culture writing, and exploring new mediums for creating art.
